Language Proficiency Requirement

•  To apply for Chinese-taught departments or programs, a Chinese language certificate at CEFR A2 level or above is required.

         (Applicants who obtained their previous degree through a program taught in entirely in Chinese and are able to provide the proof are not subject to this limitation.)

※ Chinese language certificate must be based on CEFR official tests, such as TOCFL or HSK.

• To apply for English-taught departments or programs, an English proficiency certificate at CEFR B1 level or above is required.
  (Applicants whose nationality is from a country where English is an official or commonly used language, or who obtained their previous degree through a program taught in entirely in English and can provide the proof are not subject to this limitation.)

※English language certificate must be based on CEFR official tests, such as TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS.

※If the certificate is not from the CEFR official test, including prediction test, the application may be considered incomplete and could be rejected.
