僑外畢業生留台注意事項 / Important Notice for International Graduates Remaining in Taiwan

恭喜各位順利畢業！畢業後如果想繼續留在台灣生活或尋職，請務必注意以下攸關自身權益的重要事項：

Congratulations on your graduation! If you plan to stay in Taiwan to look for a job or live here after graduation, please pay close attention to the following crucial regulations to protect your rights:

1. 居留證（ARC）變更與展延 / ARC Modification & Extension

時效限制 (Time Limit)：

畢業後原本的「學生」居留原因即消失。為了避免原居留證失效，強烈建議大家在取得畢業證書後，儘速（建議兩週內）前往移民署辦理變更為「覓職」事由，以免原居留證遭註銷而造成逾期居留！

After graduation, your status as a student ends. To prevent your current ARC from becoming invalid, it is highly recommended to visit the NIA as soon as possible (preferably within 2 weeks) after receiving your graduation certificate to change your ARC purpose to "Job-Seeking."

覓職停留時間 (Job-Seeking Period)：

第一次可申請延期居留 1 年；若期滿仍有需要，可再展延一次（1年），總長最長可留台 2 年。

The first extension is granted for 1 year. If needed, you can apply for a second extension for another year, allowing a maximum total of 2 years to stay in Taiwan for job-seeking.

2.尋職期間工作規定 / Work Regulations During Job-Seeking

免工作許可 (No Work Permit Needed)：

依據最新法規，取得台灣副學士（專科）以上學位的應屆畢業生，在移民署許可的覓職居留期間，不需要向勞動部申請工作許可，即可合法在台從事全職、兼職或實習！

According to the latest regulations, fresh graduates with an associate degree or higher from Taiwan DO NOT need to apply for a work permit from the Ministry of Labor during their approved job-seeking period. You can legally work full-time, part-time, or do internships!

3.搬家記得更改地址 / Change of Address

30天內通報 (Report Within 30 Days)：

畢業後若搬離學校宿舍或更換住處，依法必須在搬入新住所的 30 天內，帶租屋合約前往移民署辦理「居住地址變更」。

If you move out of the university dorm or change your residence after graduation, you are legally required to update your "Residential Address" at the NIA with your rental agreement within 30 days of moving in to avoid penalties!

4.健保（NHI）銜接注意事項 / Health Insurance Continuity

如何維持健保 (How to Stay Insured)：

畢業後學校會將你的健保辦理退保。在還沒找到工作前，請持「覓職事由居留證」前往你居住地的區公所/鄉鎮市公所辦理依附投保，以確保健保不中斷。正式找到工作後，再由投保公司接續投保。

The university will transfer you out of the NHI system after graduation. Before finding a job, please take your "Job-Seeking" ARC to the Local District/Township Office of your residence to enroll in the NHI to ensure your health insurance remains continuous. Once you secure a job, your employer will handle your NHI.

5.畢業後直接在台工作（工作居留）注意事項 / Regulations for Staying in Taiwan for Work (Work ARC)

居留事由變更 (Change of ARC Purpose)：

如果你在畢業時就已經順利找到工作，並由雇主向勞動部取得「工作許可函（工作證）」，請務必在取得許可函後，儘速前往移民署將居留事由從「學生」變更為「應聘（工作）」。

If you have already secured a job upon graduation and your employer has obtained a "Work Permit" from the Ministry of Labor, you must visit the National Immigration Agency (NIA) as soon as possible to change your ARC purpose from "Student" to "Employment."

注意離職後的居留時效 (Notice on Resignation)：

工作居留是「綁定雇主」的。如果未來不小心面臨離職或換工作，原工作居留證將會失效。此時必須在離職後規定期限內前往移民署改辦「覓職居留」，才能繼續合法留台找新工作。

A Work ARC is tied to your employer. If you resign or change jobs in the future, your Work ARC will become invalid. You must apply to change your ARC to "Job-Seeking" status within the regulated timeframe after resignation to legally remain in Taiwan and search for a new job.

健保轉移 (NHI Transfer)：

正式入職後，健保將改由「任職公司」幫你投保。請確認公司有幫你辦理健保轉入，以免健保中斷或產生欠費。

Once you officially start working, your National Health Insurance (NHI) will be handled by your employer. Please ensure your company successfully transfers you into their NHI system to avoid any insurance gaps or overdue fees.
