一、申請時間：

(一)新生於申請入學時一併提出獎學金申請。

(二)在校生秋季班及春季班分開辦理，依公告時間備妥申請資料，向本校國際事務處國際學生組提出申。

二、本要點之獎助學金項目與名額如下：

(一)大學部學生：一學年之學費、雜費同額獎學金或每月給與新臺幣（以下同）四千元生活津貼或一學年住宿費同額獎學金。

(二)研究所學生：

1.菁英獎學金：一學年之學費、雜費同額獎學金及一學年住宿費同額獎學金及博士生每月五千至一萬元/碩士生每月二千至六千元生活津貼。

2.卓越獎學金：一學年之學費、雜費同額獎學金及一學年住宿費同額獎學金。

3.優秀獎學金：一學年之學費、雜費同額獎學金及實修之學分費補助每學期最高以九學分為限或每月給與六千元生活津貼或一學年住宿費同額獎學金。

(三)各項獎助學金之總額度以不超過當學年度外國學生學雜費收入為限，並於外國學生入學手冊載明。

三、繳交文件：

(一)新生：依外國學生入學手冊之規定。

(二)二年級以上外國在校生：

1、申請書。

2、前一學年成績單及班級名次(不含碩士班)。

3、系所教師或指導教授之推薦函2份。

四、本獎助學金每次核定一年，按期核撥。大學部學生受獎期限至多四年，碩士生至多二年，博士生至多三年，應屆畢業生發給至六月為止。

五、獲本獎助學金之外國學生(以下簡稱獲獎生)，每學年應參與服務國際事務處活動三次以上。回饋服務之成果將納入下學年申請獎助學金之審查要件。

六、符合獎助之外國學生，領取本獎助學金後，經查有偽造或不實之情事，撤銷其受獎資格，並應繳回已領取之獎助學金。上開學生如休學、退學、轉學，自次月起停止發給，下學期未完成註冊，自次月起停止發給，並應繳回該學期已領取之獎助學金。

（A）Application Period:

1. Newly Foreign Students may submit their scholarship application with the academic admission.
2. Current Students apply separately for the Fall and Spring semesters. Students must prepare the required application materials according to the announced timeline and submit their applications to the International Student Section of the Office of International Affairs.

（B）Items and Quota of this scholarship are listed below:

1. Bachelor student: either Tuition and incidental fees OR NTD 4,000 per month OR free accommodation fee for one academic year.
2. Graduate student:

(a) Elite Scholarship:   Tuition and incidental fees for one academic year

Accommodation fee for one academic year

Monthly living allowance of NT$5,000 to NT$10,000 for PhD students or NT$2,000 to NT$6,000 for Master's students. 

(b) Brilliance Scholarship:   Tuition and incidental fees for one academic year

Accommodation fee for one academic year

(c) Excellent Scholarship: either Tuition and incidental fees OR NTD 6,000 per month OR free accommodation fee for one academic year.

All the scholarship items are verified by the Foreign Student Scholarship Evaluation Committee of this university and approved by the president. The amount and quota of the scholarships comes from the income of foreign students’ tuition fee and incidental fee, and these regulations are written into foreign student handbook.

（C）Required Documents:

1. New Foreign Student:

(a)Please refer to the regulations in the foreign student handbook.

2. Sophomore or above:

(a) Application form.

(b) The previous school year GPA and class rank. (Master student is not required to provide this).

(c) Two reference letters from department lecturers or supervising professors.

（D）The scholarship is approved for one year at a time and disbursed periodically.

Graduating students will receive the scholarship up to June of their final year. The maximum duration for receiving the scholarship is four years for undergraduate students, two years for Master’s students, and three years for PhD students.

（E）International students who receive this scholarship (hereafter referred to as recipients) 

must participate in activities organized by the Office of International Affairs at least three times each academic year.

The results of their service will be considered as part of the review criteria for their scholarship application in the following academic year.

（F）After receiving this scholarship, recipients will be disqualified and return all claimed money if they providing any counterfeit or unreal information.

If any student have suspend his schooling, drop out of this school or transfer to other school, from next month onwards scholarship would be cancelled; if he/she have failed to register his/her second semester of schooling, from next month onwards scholarship would be cancelled and he/she should return all claimed money in that semester.
